How much adoption pay will I receive?

If you’re eligible for adoption pay, we’ll pay you as follows:

  • 90% of your average weekly earnings for the first six weeks; and
  • £184.03 or 90% of your average weekly earnings (whichever is lower) for the following 33 weeks.

Tax and National Insurance will be deducted as normal.

 These figures are correct for the 2024/25 tax year.
