How do I apply for a National Insurance Number?
If you don’t have a National Insurance Number (NINO) yet, you must apply for one straight away.
You can apply by contacting Jobcentre Plus, who will explain exactly what you need to do. It may involve an interview or simply completing an application form.
Please send us a note of your NINO as soon as you receive it.
