What is a contract of employment?
A contract of employment is an agreement between an employer and employee and is the basis of the employment relationship.
Once you have completed your registration with Key Portfolio, you become an employee of an Umbrella Company. Your employment status is ’employee’.
This means you and Key Portfolio are bound by a contract of employment which remains in place even when you’re in between agency assignments. Our contract of employment gives you greater security when compared to being directly engaged by a recruitment agency where you would usually only be protected whilst on an assignment.
