Am I eligible for shared parental pay?
If you and your partner (or your child’s other parent) plan to share parental leave to look after your baby, please let us know. We’ll quickly confirm whether or not we’re able to pay you shared parental pay (ShPP).
You can get ShPP if you or your partner end maternity or adoption pay early and one of the following applies:
- you’re eligible for statutory maternity pay (SMP) or statutory adoption pay (SAP)
- you’re eligible for statutory paternity pay (SPP) and your partner is eligible for SMP, maternity allowance or SAP
